
Rikavacko and Bukumirsko lake
Today, I’ve guided a group from Podgorica to the Kuchi Mountains, which are getting more and more popular as the people from the capital started going there.
We have been to Rikavacko and Bukumirsko Lake, foraging for wild plants and mushrooms!

Komovi mountain - two summits and summer camp
Last two days we spent on Štavna pass, the starting point for climbing summits of Komovi mountain. We arrived there at friday night, lighted a fire and enjoyed long night!
On Saturday we did a climb to Kucki Kom, and the other day to Vasojevicki Kom!

Coming back to the huts and taking off a backpack after a long day of hiking, reminds me how being a mountain guide actually makes me happy. Having the opportunity to live every day in a different way, climbing a different mountain...
Last two years being a full time guide I learnt so much, but the biggest lesson is that life is a story, so I try to make the best story out of it.

Scent of a Mountain...
Getting up before sunrise in order to get somewhere while the snow is still hard and driving on empty streets where only the traffic lights are awake precede the feeling you get when descending a peak right after you’ve conquered it… The last time I had such a feeling was when I was descending Treskavac, stepping on hard snow with my eyes half open for the Sun rays were reflecting off the ice-covered ground, onto which parts of snow fell right from my shoes. We were descending the peak that conquered us , and took the whole burden we brought to it and removed it using the power of the north wind…
